GlamourDoll Galore! (Part 5, Blues!)

A Tattooed, Boy Crazy girl with mad Sex Appeal said Hello Brooklyn at dusk. She did a Fabulous Flashdance in her Drity Jeans Hotpants.

Here's a LINK to my first post that has more details on what this is about, just read the first couple paragraphs to get a general idea (or the whole thing!)

> Tattooed * - Amazing matte blue base with a ton of purple shimmer. This colour is super lovely with that blend of matte and shimmer, so if you use it wet, the purple shimmer will stand out. But if you use it dry, the matte blue will be the star.

> Sex Appeal * - This has to be one of my absolute favourites. Its so crazily unique! It has a matte greyed down purple base with grey and greenish shimmer. At least that's what i think it is! Its just so pretty!

> Boy Crazy * - This blue almost has a periwinkle tinge to it. When blended lots, it also looks a tad green. The base is a matte, but there's tons of shimmer throughout.

> Dusk * - Greyed down navy blue frost finish base with a teensy bit of blue shimmer added for that kick of colour. This shows actually pretty sheer, so maybe try it with a base, or using it wet.

> Hello Brooklyn * - Gorgeous matte black base blue/aqua glitter! the glitter even stayed put in this colour, so no base required! Even though its always a good idea to use a base to prevent creasing and kick up the pigmentation a bit.

> Blue Ribbon * - The base colour of this is a true blue shimmer. The texture, colour and finish honestly makes it look like a satin ribbon that you'd win at track and field haha.

> Ahoy Sailor * - Fantastically pigmented matte dark navy blue. Super rich and deep with a really velvety texture that's easy to blend.

> Mingles * - Mmmmhh a deliciously pigmented matte true blue. This is super nice, another of my favourites. I can't wait to play around with this colour!

> Blueberry Lush * - Another true blue colour, but this one is a shimmer/frost finish! This would add dimension to any look that you use mingles in.

> Melancholy * - A brighter version of Blueberry Lush that has a more aqua colour to it without having outright green tones. Its not as shimmery as Blueberry Lush though. Its got more of a sheen than a frost or shimmer finish.

> Hotpants * - Muted light to mid-toned blue shimmer colour. Its muted without being boring or dull.

> Flashdance * - Mid-toned muted blue with lots of shimmer. The shimmer seems to be very silver, which may be what makes this look a bit muted. But even though its so shimmery, it has some great colour payoff. This colour does show a tad bit of purple when its blended out, though nothing drastic.

> Drity Jeans * - I just bought a pair of dirty wash jeans that looks exactly like this colour! Its a base of jeans-blue, with goldy shimmer to it that gives it that 'dirty' feeling. While it is really shimmer/frosty it's not overwhelming because of the colour it has.

> Fabulous! * - A blued up teal with lots of teal shimmer. The texture of this shadow is lovely. Super soft and fine with great colour payoff and blend-ability.

> Aqua Foil * - A darker, less blue version of Fabulous! I can imagine using this wet, it would look like you turned aluminum foil, aqua! It has a bit of gold shimmer incorporated too which makes it extra special.

> Island Chic * - Imagine a picture-perfect island, surrounded with crystall clear blue waters with white beaches that are just calling you to have a fancy cocktail on them. Now turn the waters there into an eye-shadow! That is this colour! Really pretty aqua-ey turquoise. Its shimmer but with also a tad bit of matte i think. And some gold glitter to add that sandy beaches and sunshine feeling.

* Colours marked with an "*" are vegan.

>Midterm Exam!
These exams will be a touch different since I didn't buy the full-size jars of every colour, and also, i'm reviewing one colour family at a time. I'll score the product as an overall rating, according to the range of colours in this particular family, and also the overall quality. I'll score the value according to the price of full jars. I'll score the packaging according to how well they were packaged for shipment. And finally, i'll score ease of use according to use out of the plastic baggie, but otherwise normally.

Product: 58/60
Value: 18/20
Packaging: 8/10
Ease of Use: 8.5/10

>Did they pass?

Oh my yes! There's such a variety of blues that i think it'd be super hard to find one that didn't suit your needs. Theres matte dark and bright blues, and theres shimmery ones of all colours and finishes. Wowie. So! These babies got...dun da da dahhh! 98.5% Amazing!

>Photos time!

The colours look a tad bit washed out, its just because they're mostly shimmer colours and my remote flash was NOT having it.
